In making a down payment "before" a pup’s birth, FS hereby notes your “INTENT” to purchase one of our pups. FS will send this contract to be filled in with your “INTENT” to buy. Your individual puppy/ies is “offered for sale” as noted in the "Be Aware" section below.

Our Standard Poodle Sale Contract is for honest people! Please move forward with honesty and integrity in working with us as we will with you.

Preamble: If potential purchaser is not willing to work on a high professional level of communication, integrity, and ethics please do not move forward with this contract.
1. The puppy/ies purchased here will have all immunizations and worming needed according to veterinarian standards. Falcon Services, hereafter FS, will provide health record/s with purchase.
2. Out of state travel: this puppy/ies will be vet checked, and health certificate issued prior to travel, flying starts at 8 weeks of age. Travel Date is date established to go to new home.
3. Flying is agreed to be paid by purchaser. Flight ticket (depends on crate, pet weight and airline used) average $250 at 8 weeks of age (estimations as of 12/9/08). Gas charge may be assessed if special arrangement is needed by customer (6 hour trip for FS to and from airport).
4. Puppy is micro-chipped at 6 weeks of age with a Home Again® tracking chip ($100 value). Purchaser will receive papers to file with Home Again® upon final payment of pup.
5. Purchaser agrees to establish a relationship with a reputable veterinarian to keep up to date on puppy/ies health care. Veterinarian expenses after Travel Date are purchaser's responsibility.
6. This puppy/ies is not sold on a trial basis. Purchaser takes full responsibility at Travel Date.
7. It is agreed this puppy/ies will never be placed in a shelter or other such organization. Purchaser guarantees FS that they will return this puppy so a new loving home may be found.
8. Von Willibrand Disease (VWD) testing, a bleeding disorder in some dogs (not FS’s), may/may not be done on a litter. It is done to sell a top pup to be a breeder, assuring healthy offspring. Any breeding buyer must agree to test their poodles and inform FS of results.
9. As a "PET ONLY," purchaser agrees to spay/neuter pup at approximately 5-8 months of age, with vet documents being mailed to FS for validation.
10. FS conditionally guarantees, until the age of 2 years, against congenital defects that will interfere with the pup's ability to lead a normal life.
Conditions:
A) Food: Puppy is to be eating Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance® Dog Food (DVP). See website “Health” for more on this. Other foods may/may not cause gastric problems, have dies in them, and other ingredients, which may cause health issues.
B) Supplements: Puppy is to be “periodically” supported with the NuVetTM Plus Canine supplement only sold by breeders. As in humans, vitamin supplements help during times of spiritual stress, climatic stress, and nutritional irregularities. Leaving mother and playmates is a very stressful time on a puppy and supplements help maintain them over the transition. You must agree to have this in place at pups Travel Date to his new home.

C) Notification: A veterinarian’s letter must be received explaining congenital defect, and you agree to humanely put this pet to sleep as FS does not want to cause any financial or spiritual burden on you or your pet. A copy of the euthanizing must be sent to FS.
D) Ownership: You must be puppy’s original owner, sending pup’s AKC papers to FS.
E) Exclusions: This does not include hips, which are hereditary. Our standard poodles OFA tests range Fair to Excellent.

Be Aware:
a) FS has a vet examine each pup within three days of birth. It is the time frame in which tails are docked and dew claws removed.
b) At 6 weeks of age the pups are examined again when they receive their first set of vaccinations at which time you may decide on your pup.
c) FS “offers the pups for sale” now at 6 weeks of age according to your down payment “intent” order 1, 2, 3... d) Upon the decision of which pup is yours, full payment is due. FS’s agent signs the contract and sends a priority mail package to you containing the contract and other data.
Your pup has now been examined by a vet twice. If flying, your pet is examined a third time for certification of health to fly.

Standard Poodle Long Term Umbrella Contract Preamble: If potential purchaser is not willing to work on a high professional level of communication, integrity, and ethics please do not move forward with this contract. This “Standard Poodle Umbrella Contract” is written in three parts for the purpose of a long term business relationship with the guarantee no puppy will ever be placed in a puppy mill farm caged environment. The first part discusses variables in Falcon Services (FS) Standard Poodle puppies. The second part is a basic contract intended to umbrella each “Standard Poodle Puppy Contract”. Part three covers payments. Definition of a PET ONLY: fixed—spade or neutered within 5-10 months of age. PART I A. FS standard poodles are born in various colors per litter;
1. 75-100% are born solid brown
2. 10-25% brown with white abstract/mismark
3. 5% Solid red/apricot color
4. 10-25% Red/apricot color with white abstract/mismark
5. Rare—Solid black
B. FS will only sell solid colored pups for breeding purposes; all others are sold as PET ONLY, yet a PET ONLY could be of solid color as well.
C. FS will only sell pups tested for Von Willibrand Disease; testing done with a blood extraction at 6 weeks of age, test results by 7 weeks.
1. Pups test results with 70% and higher can be sold as a breeding standard poodle with the following considerations:
a. The purchase of a 70% or higher breeding pup will only be bred to a mate with comparable or higher percentages Or
b. If a pup rates 100% or higher, it is reasonable to consider mating to another (not FS’s as I will only sell 70% or higher for breeding purposes) with ratings above 55%. NONE lower as a good breeder should maintain the highest ratings possible to avoid the VWD bleeding disorder.
2. FS –PETS ONLY may range in VWD from 53% and higher as there will be no offspring and no problem with the disease at this percentage. PART II
A. Females:
1. The price of a breeding female will be $2,500 and fully identified as such in accordance to PART I.
a. No FS female will be bred until her 3rd heat season.
b. In addition, it is agreed at 2 years of age, a breeding bitch is to receive OFA hip testing in order to establish the exact health of her hips. No dog should be used for breeding if it ever rates below “Fair.”
2. The price of a PET ONLY female will range from $800-$1,300 and fully identified as such in accordance to PART I.
a. Buyer agrees to show papers of having been fixed within 10 months of age;
b. If not fixed, owner guarantees the pet will never breed/be bred;
c. And if b. above; agrees to pay an additional price equal to the original sale price to maintain a full in tact standard poodle as a pet, which is a breeding price of $2,500.
3. FS has the right to not sell any female pup from any litter at any time.
B. Males:
1. The price of a breeding male pup will be $2,500 and fully identified as such in accordance to PART I.
a. In addition, it is agreed at 2 years of age, a breeding stud is to receive OFA hip testing in order to establish the exact health of his hips. No dog should be used for breeding if it ever rates below “Fair.”
2. The price of a PET ONLY male will range $800-$1,300 and fully identified as such in accordance to PART I.
a. Buyer agrees to show papers of having been fixed within 10 months of age;
b. If not fixed, owner guarantees the pet will never breed/be bred;
c. And if b. above; agrees to pay an additional price equal to the original sale price to maintain a full in tact standard poodle as a pet, which is a breeding price of $2,800.
3. FS has the right to not sell any male pup from any litter at any time.
PART III
A. Down payment:
1. for an upcoming litter must include $300 down for each pup purchase. Ways to finance:
a. See if your country has a Western Union (best)
b. Direct wire transfer from customer’s bank
c. Paypal on the internet (there will be a service charge)
2. must be done in a reasonable amount of time before pup’s traveling, depending on type of money transaction, in order to go through the financial system to know that the funds are good—see preamble.
3. if Mother Nature is unable to fill puppy need, down payment will be refunded or go toward a new expecting litter, whichever the customer requests. Refunds will have financing transaction fees deducted from the total though.
4. if “customer” cancels the transaction, there is no down payment refund.
B. In the USA, FS puppies go to their new homes at 8 weeks (2 months) of age. Puppies being held to fly overseas must be held for additional months, until 4, or more months of age, depending on country. There is an additional cost of $700 per month (this may change due to increased costs). This fee includes but not limited to:
1. Rabies and all other vaccines needed until 4 or more months of age
2. Dog food
3. Grooming time involved per pup per month
4. Frontline Flea & tick product, Heartgard for de-worming 5. Larger crate needed to be purchased for flying
6. Health certificate and international export certificate needed to travel
7. Micro-chip system or tattooing possibly put into place
8. Gas cost to travel to airport, a 6 hour trip
C. Final payment of Part III –B are due at the pups 8 weeks of age date.
